Positive Soundscapes is an active member of the Noise Futures Network, which meets regularly to discuss current and future research opportunities. Positive Soundscapes plans to invite members of the Network to a workshop in 2008 to explore current and future collaboration between the two and links to other projects and initiatives. 

Positive Soundscapes is exploring the possibility of conducting a longitudinal sound study at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. It is hoped that a continuous recording can be made from the outside of one of the Museum's building for the period of a year.
